Although I have visited Jerez during the day, I was eagerly waiting for the full Jerez experience. Hotel Bodega Tio Pepe was a huge piece in making the visit remarkable. A grand yet classic entrance, you will find a small seating nook and a clean minimalist check-in area. A drink on our arrival and off to our stay we went. The room and the hotel as a whole was warm, inviting and had a comforting and rich design. Everything you want to see during your time in Jerez is walkable from the hotel, and one of the main sights – the Cathedral – is quite literally at your doorstep. Even though you’re in a prime location, it’s in a quiet area of the city. Everything felt intimate – from the rooms, to our breakfast, even the impressive outdoor spaces. Of course, seasons of tourists come and go, but regardless of when you visit I can only assume this is a perfect oasis year-round.
