Always eager to explore new cities, we hopped on a plane from Andalucia to visit a new region of the country. Bilbao is one of the main cities in Northern Spain and I was excited to start here for our introduction to Basque country. Of course, my main priority when visiting a a new place is to find the best coffee shops. So I hope this helps if you are looking for where to have coffee in Bilbao, Spain. Baristas Club Set in old town, is Bariastas Club, a wonderful coffee shop that makes everything themselves, takes pride in their impeccable coffee (no sugar or added syrup needed). With a menu that changes with the seasons, I could sit at the tables outside of the narrow quaint streets all day. Bølge Café On our way to see the Guggenheim Museum, we stopped at Bølge Café for coffee and breakfast. Their menu provided many filling options such as numerous toasts, eggs, yogurt bowl and of course baked goods. The design needs to be mentioned and their seating – a wonderful space in contrast to smaller coffee shops. I already miss it! Nokora Specialty Coffee The perfect place for high quality […]

One of the first things I search when planning a trip is the coffee scene of a destination. Design, location and menu – I love to see what a city has to offer. Having been craving craft coffee, Seville did not disappoint with their coffee shops and cafes. I still have more coffee in Seville to try, but hopefully this helps you as you start your day exploring this beautiful city. Virgin Coffee One of my top picks for craft coffee in Seville, Spain. A small shop with minimal seating (a stool, no tables) but the perfect place to have a wonderful cup to-go as you explore more of the city. Living in my area of Spain I truly crave coffee as good as Virgin. Placido y Grata Another top contender, situated in the Placido y Grata hotel. Some of the best coffee in Seville I drank (the iced latte was wonderful) and I really enjoyed their breakfast menu (a reprieve from the traditional Spanish cafe breakfasts). If you are looking for hotel suggestions in the city, check out my recommendations here. Delatribu In the heart of it all – great location close to the Cathedral and Alcázar.

The coffee scene in Jacksonville is pretty stellar, and I have loved covering each neighborhood’s favorite spots (at least my go-tos). From Atlantic Beach, to Springfield and Riverside – there are so many to explore. You can even find ones you love in more than one neighborhood like the Jax staple, Bold Bean. Coffee shops in Jacksonville Beach, FL are wonderful and you aren’t too far from the ocean of course. Thankfully they (finally) re-opened Fishing Pier! Bold Bean Google Maps Location The first location of Bold Bean opened up in Riverside, but thanks to their Jax Beach location, you can enjoy their same delicious coffee with a bit of coastal, cozy ambience. Ink Factory Brewing Google Maps Location This space is a good one – colorful, surf inspired wall art and decor. Void Live has a shop on one end and at the opposite side is their brewery (I love a bar/coffee combo). SAGO Coffee Google Maps Location A great working spot, with cozy seating outdoors as well. This shop is large and has some good options for seating when you need to be productive. I discovered this cozy nook last year (I am probably late to the […]

A coffee holiday gift guide with aesthetics and function in mind for their morning coffee ritual, or a small fun themed gift – this list should assist you for those who are passionate about their coffee. Travel Tumbler As someone who is constantly heating up my cup of coffee – I appreciate a reusable one that keeps it warm. The design of this travel tumbler is beautiful, sleek and timeless. This brand has gorgeous Japanese products – I recommend perusing all their well-made items. Cotton Coffee Filters Sustainability at it’s finest, and a win for the environment.

It’s no surprise that as soon as I wake up I look forward to my fresh pour over coffee to start my day. Having local, high quality beans makes the morning even more enjoyable. It’s true, supporting local really does just taste better, especially one as inviting as Young Buck Coffee Roasters. The convenience and quality (not to mention supporting a small business), is pretty unmatched when it comes to Young Buck Coffee Roasters. If you are someone who wants the freshest of coffee always stocked up for yourself and guests, I highly recommend a subscription. You will be able to taste a variety of high-quality single origin and blends at your doorstep every week (or whatever frequency you wish). You can receive your first subscription order for 50% off and as you continue, you can change or cancel at anytime. There is something special about supporting your local coffee roasters, and receiving a hand delivered bag at your doorstep that was roasted the day before. You can’t beat that! To sign up, visit this link to get started and receive your own beans right at home. Reasons I love Young Buck Coffee: Eco Conscious – Young Buck Coffee […]
