Spring is always a tricky season to pack for, and in a city like London it is quite possibly even harder. We were there in late March with some rain off and on. It was cooler in the morning and the sun being out made all the difference. I was able to pack light with only one pair of shoes! Lately I’ve been really honing in on my wardrobe and loving repeating outfits – gone are the days of needing new outfits all the time! I hope this London spring packing list is helpful if you are also headed there this season. A few tips: Weather An obvious one – check the morning temperatures and when it will be the coldest. Of course look if there is rain and pack a compact umbrella if you can. If not, you can do what we did and buy one (or a few) there. We were able to put the ones we purchased in our suitcase on the way back. Walking shoes Like many trips to a big city you will most likely be walking a lot even with subways and buses. Comfortable walking shoes are key. I wore my sambas but […]

European summer is about to be in full swing, and they are projecting a large number of tourists to visit all that it has to offer. I hope this packing list for Portugal is helpful if you are headed to Europe this season. I have found that spring is perhaps the most magical time in Spain and Portugal, but I know the busiest season is upon us. A packing list for Portugal can be quite simple – portofino shirts, linen dresses, comfortable shoes, a bathing suit and a hat to protect against that strong sun. I have tried the last few months to really hone in on packing less, trying on outfits helps with this. Also, always check the weather right before your trip! For the most part, this is what I packed and wore on our weekend trip to Tavira – I will link what I can, but I prefer for this to be inspiration, a loose guide and encouragement to shop your own closet or thrift your own pieces! A Packing list for Portugal: Tops: White Tank Top | Orange Portofino Top | Blue & White Striped Portofino Top | Black linen button down Dresses: Blue Oversized […]

After my solo travel tip with two kiddos, a few of you said this type of post would be beneficial. When I write on the topic of family travel, I always like to mention that you know your kids best. These are just suggestions that may work for you, too! Traveling with a toddler and infant is at times, exhausting – but we can always get by with some tips for what to bring. I truly hope this helps! Traveling with a toddler and Infant: Transportation Double Travel Stroller – This stroller has been great! I love that there is an option for an infant carseat, and your toddler can hop on and off. Once the baby can sit better unassisted, this the rear seat is also an option so they both can sit forward without a carseat. If I am wearing the baby, the stroller can hold all our bags and the carseat. Ideal when I was traveling solo. I purchased mine on Facebook Marketplace and I encourage you to look there, first! This may be the case with many double travel strollers, but it can be a little difficult to turn with one hand, but overall this […]

The time of year where I get to pack for cold weather! I stand in my closet often getting overwhelmed with the desire to pack up all my sweaters and warm accessories. Like many, I am often an over packer, and I become vastly disappointed when I go about my trip realizing I didn’t pack the right things. Although it was more time consuming, I tried to focus on things I needed to buy for this trip to complete outfits, try on a few options to make sure I was packing correctly, and really look at my schedule for where I would need certain clothes for. This trip will consist of lounging at home sprinkled with a fancy anniversary dinner, holiday festivities and a family party. I need a few nicer options, holiday pajamas, and casual outfits for anything else that comes up. I love reading a good packing list, so figured I would take the time to create my own for the chilly (and merry) season. I used this as my checklist to get trip-ready and it made packing my clothes a breeze! After the hard work of making the collage and trying things on, of course. I […]

During a trip (and once you are at your destination), you may need a pick me-up especially if you are going somewhere cooler. I have slowly curated refreshing and moisturizing products to travel with and hope this list can be helpful if you are looking for similar. Face spray at your destination to freshen up, or products to protect your face from getting dry – it is always nice to have products that make you feel your best. My skin may be fine in warm Florida, but then feels dry, or lips become chapped as I make it to somewhere colder. I have been trying to purchase and try products that are more natural, and I know are great quality. I am learning a good skincare routine is important as a foundation for moisturized skin. With skincare products being a constant experiment, it has taken me awhile to find products I truly love. I am sure I will continue creating an ideal product list, but here are some I am currently enjoying at home, or on the road.

About a week ago I was on a plane heading to the Catskills of NY for the perfect Fall getaway complete with smores, mountains, and a cozy mountain lodge. Having recently moved to Florida, the heat the last few months was quite the adjustment and I was desperately longing to pull out my leather jacket (or any layer). While writing this post I find many other items I could have brought if the trip lasted longer ( I wish it could have)! I hope this post helps you think about what to pack for a Fall mountain lodge getaway! For those of us who grew up in places who experience incredible Falls – we take it for granted. There is something about the leaves changing, the smell of crisp air, and not sweating through t shirts in October that brings me the most joy. When a few friends and I decided to travel to New York, I was eager to start planning all the warm layers I would pack. I was desperate for cooler weather, and what a better way to experience your favorite season with a little travel and picturesque getaway! We checked into the Scribner’s Catskill Lodge in […]
