					<description><![CDATA[<p>When researching where to stay in Atami, it was hard to find a perfect balance of relaxation, great location, and one within a reasonable budget. Once I found Hotel Resporpia, I knew it would be an excellent choice. The pictures showed western style beds, that continued on to a tatami floor complete with a balcony that looked out to the ocean. In fact, choosing an ocean view is your ONLY option &#8211; so makes your decision pretty easy. Check in The room Checking in, I was hoping photos would be a reality, and to my pleasant surprise &#8211; the room was perfect! Already impressed by the beautiful lobby, I had a feeling it would be. There is something magical about staying in a Ryokan. Whether it is wearing Yukatas throughout your stay or the insane hospitality that always occurs &#8211; they are my favorite lodging option in Japan. My first time experiencing the Ryokan life was in Hakone, another memory that I will FOREVER cherish. Seems to me, great night sleeps also exist in Ryokans. I thank the rice pillows and healing mineral water from the Onsen for that. What is great about this hotel, is how at home [&#8230;]</p>
