We recently took a weekend trip to Ronda, and although it is often seen as a day trip, I highly recommend staying at least a night if you can. There is something about a city when the tourist buses and day trippers have left, and it is just you and the sunset over the famous Puente Nuevo bridge. I mention this often on Instagram, but traveling with kids often can equate to a slower way of travel. That means bedtime for the littles and not venturing out as much as I would like.

Although I miss scouring for craft cocktail bars, an airbnb with a perfect view and a bottle of sparkling wine still gives me the sense of travel, while adjusting to a simpler way to see places. If you want a stay more with a beautiful interior, this loft for two caught my eye.

The terrace overlooking the bridge seems so spacious and perfect for meals with a view. Most places have a smaller balcony option, I like that you could eat meals while overlooking the bridge.

Similar to the apartment above, this has a bit more seating area to enjoy the Puente Nuevo bridge.

I can personally attest that this view is stunning, all that is missing is a little table to soak it all in. I was able to see sunrise and sunset with a gorgeous canyon and bridge view.

For an option outside the city center, this place looks beautiful. Read the reviews for what you can expect (steep walk to city center or you can drive) but for a relaxing stay with a shared pool – this is a great option.

Perfect for a larger group and an ideal place to escape the heat (in the pool and the listing mentions the house stays pretty cool). This property has parking on site, and you can still walk into the center for all the main sights while being surrounded by nature. A beautiful view of the hillside, showing off this area of Spain.

Casa El Puente Ronda by Ruralidays

One of the more expensive listings on this post, but the view from the pool is epic and iconic. This villa is absolutely stunning – patio, large pool and colorful designed bedrooms – this is now on my list.
