It has been awhile since I have posted a Jax date idea in my #jaxdateseries! Obviously the world we have been living in lately isn’t lending itself to fine dining, movie theaters or certain experiences. As we navigate our new normal, I believe there are still ways to support local businesses and have special moments even if it looks different. This time is all about mornings on the ocean with impeccable coffee and a great breakfast on the sand.
The other weekend I visited some favorites in Atlantic Beach and think it would make a safe and fun date (earlier the better in this heat).
Hotel Palms x Show Pigeon Coffee
It is no secret I love Hotel Palms on the weekend as Show Pigeon Coffee creates the perfect coffee cocktails. Payment is completely contactless, and you can take it to go or sit at a distance outside from other customers in the beautiful courtyard.

Homespun Pantry
Order from their website beforehand, and your food will be waiting on a table for you inside. My favorites are the Phoenix Breakfast wrap and A A ron smoothie.
Beach Picnic
After you’ve been caffeinated and picked up breakfast head to the beach and enjoy the “cooler” morning weather before the majority of people arrive. You can enjoy the outdoors and find a spot that is properly socially distanced. 😉
Although this is a pretty simple Jax date idea, it is such a great way to take a break from all the current noise and feeling couped up. Show Pigeon Coffee and Homespun Pantry are two of my favorite places by the beach and make for a perfect morning trip with your friends, significant other (or recently like me with your kids)!
